About Me

I am Jeannette Ring, and the Ringmaster (get it?!) for the most fabulous circus.  It includes my husband James, children Patrick (3) & Alice (2), and 4 chickens Matilda, Lacey, Betsey, and Abigail.  I am at least an 8th generation Californian, former Jr. Park Ranger, Pig Noise Champion in Tiny Tots, and voted Best to Walk Behind in a Hallway & Kid at Heart, Sassiest, and most Inspirational.  I love cooking, baking, making things, pretending to be a mermaid, and I probably own more bottles of nail polish than I should admit.

I love sharing and creating or making a slight change to make it your own.  As a teenager, I’d ask for cooking books or kitchen gadgets for birthday or Christmas presents.  Many pages of the books along with Martha Stewart magazines have dog ears over my favorites recipes or crafts so you may understand my joy when I found Pinterest.  I love teaching my kids all about cooking and having them “help” me in the kitchen with measuring, mixing, and tasting or finding a craft that gets us coated in finger paint!  Grab a cup of coffee and get inspired!
